In Her Own Words:
"I'm a recovering alcoholic, almost two years ago I hit rock bottom. I had an unhealthy marriage and no sense of who I was because I was consumed by alcohol. One thing I did have was two beautiful boys Paul and Kaleb. They were eventually placed with my mother because my ex-husband and I could not take care of them- that was the most devastating thing I ever went through.
I felt there was only one thing that I could do, go to rehab. I was there for sixty days while my mother prayed and fasted for me. One day a pastor and his wife came into the center and prayed with me. I will never forget the power of God that I felt in that room, I felt God running towards me. I truly believe he healed me that day. When I came home, I had a long journey of court appearances and court ordered parenting classes. One of the best things I was required to do was take a parenting course, that is where I found Willow Network in 2023.
The staff welcomed me with open arms. When I found out it was faith based, I knew God led me there. The Active Parenting Now course helped me so much then and now with parenting my boys. It really showed me how to communicate, understand and talk with my children. This was something I never would've thought I would need but I think every parent could benefit from. I completed my class in September 2023 and received my certificate. Fast forward to now, I have been sober for 1 year and 7 months, I have a full time job, an apartment, a sober boyfriend, and the best yet is I have both my children back in my custody. Knowing what I know now, if I could go back and tell myself one bit of advice it would be to listen to the still small voice calling me back, because I am so grateful to God for what He has done in my life. "

Willow Network is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in the state of New York. All of our support comes from caring individuals, local churches, & area businesses. We do not take any state or federal dollars. 100% of donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Would you consider a one-time gift or become a monthly supporter?

Special Events
We hold three major annual fundraising events: the Baby Bottle Campaign, which kicks off on Sanctity of Life Sunday in January, although many churches participate at other times in the year; the Walk for Life which is held in early summer; and our Fall Banquet in October. Planned Giving Opportunities

Gifts of Stocks or Appreciated Assets
Donating stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have appreciated over time can be a tax-wise approach to giving. Not only does it allow you to support the Willow Network significantly, but it also offers you financial benefits. By transferring appreciated securities directly to us, you can avoid the capital gains tax that would be due if you sold the assets yourself. Moreover, you are eligible to take a tax deduction for the full market value of the asset at the time of the gift.

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) From Your IRA
If you are 70 ½ years or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) can be an advantageous way to donate. QCDs allow you to transfer up to $100,000 annually directly to a qualified charity like the Willow Network without having to count the distribution as taxable income. This can be especially beneficial if you are subject to Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), as a QCD can satisfy your RMD without increasing your taxable income.

When you give a gift (also known as a “bequest”) to Willow Network in your will or trust, you model to your loved ones a legacy of generosity. You also help ensure that Willow Network will continue to make a difference for generations to come.

Grants from Donor Advised Funds
Donor-Advised Funds offer a flexible and tax-efficient way to manage your charitable giving. By contributing cash, securities, or other assets to a DAF, you are eligible for an immediate tax deduction. You can then recommend grants from the fund to your favorite charities over time. This allows you to make a charitable contribution now and decide later when and where to distribute the funds. It's a strategic way to create a lasting legacy of support for the causes you care about.

Gifts That Pay You Income: Charitable Gift Annuity | Charitable Reminder Trust
A lifetime income gift – such as a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust – is a wonderful solution if you wish to give to Willow Network in a substantial way, but are concerned about having enough retirement income. Give cash or other property, and receive steady income for the rest of your life (or a designated number of years.)
